New tools have their own character just waiting to be discovered; old tools have a story, a unique shape from their use. Some are old, slow, and ponderous, creating careful, gentle forms. Others are full of life and have a faster pace, building speed up and conferring its own energy from my hand to my work.

Above is the pegboard in my workshop filled with old and new tools I’ve collected over the years, each and every one holds a different energy, making selection and experimentation with new ideas easy.
